BEEF, BACON AND BEER BOLOGNESE

Ingredients
250 g Barilla spaghetti
Mince Ingredients
300 g beef mince
6 slices salami, chopped
2 rashers bacon, chopped
½ onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
2 cm piece of leek, chopped
1 tablespoon parsley
Pinch of salt
Sauce
¼ cup tomato paste
2 cups passata
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
½ cup beer
Ashgrove parmesan cheese, grated to serve
Method
Step 1
Process the mince ingredients together – either using a KitchenAid mincer attachment or a food processor
Step 2
Cook mince in a frypan until brown
Add the sauce ingredients and stir through
Reduce the heat and simmer for around 15 minutes
Step 3
Cook the spaghetti using the instructions on the packet
Step 4
Place the pasta on a serving plate, spoon over the bolognese and grated parmesan
