CHOCOLATE PUDDING


PREP TIME: 20 minutes

COOK TIME: 30 minutes

SERVES: 5

 

INGREDIENTS

 

PUDDING

1 cup SR flour

½ cup sugar

¼ cup cocoa

1 egg, whisked

50 g Ashgrove Traditional Farmhouse butter, melted

½ cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla paste

CHOCOLATE SAUCE

1 cup sugar

¼ cup cocoa

1 ½ cups boiling water

 

METHOD

Step 1

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl

Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients, add the egg, milk and butter and mix well. Add a little more milk if needed

Pour the pudding mixture into a greased pie dish

Step 2

Sprinkle the sugar and cocoa over the pudding mix

Gently pour the boiling water on top

Step 3

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes
