CHOCOLATE SELF SAUCING PUDDING

Ingredients:
Pudding:
150g Butter
110ml Milk
1 Egg
1 1/4 cups self-raising flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon instant coffee
Sauce:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1.5 cups boiling water
Method
Pre-heat oven to 185 degrees Celsius.
Add butter to a pot on the stove on medium heat and melt.
To a bowl add flour, sugar, cocoa, instant coffee and mix together then make a well in the middle.
When butter is melted add milk to the butter and then pour into the well in the dry ingredients and add the egg and stir all ingredients together. Pour batter into a baking dish.
Combine the brown sugar and cocoa for the sauce and sprinkle on top of the batter then pour boiling water on top and put the dish in the oven to bake for 25 minutes.
Serve with a dollop of creme fraiche.
