CHAR GRILLED EYE FILLET WITH HASSELBACK POTATOES

Ingredients
400 grams eye fillet
4 dutch cream potatoes
200 grams bacon diced
1 onion diced
150 grams butter
200 grams grated cheddar cheese
2 tsp dried oregano
Salt
Olive oil
Method
Cut potatoes in half be careful to not cut all the way through the potato. Stuff the potato with bacon, onion, butter, grated cheese and salt.
Wrap potatoes in foil.
Place foil wrapped potatoes on coals for 20-25 minutes.
While potatoes are cooking, salt and oil eye fillet place on a very hot char grill for 3 minutes each side (medium rare).
Once cooked rest for 5 minutes before eating.
