SPAGHETTI AND PORK BELLY MEATBALLS


PREP TIME: 20 minutes

COOK TIME: 40 minutes

SERVES: 4

 

INGREDIENTS:

Meatballs

500 g pork mince, made from pork belly

125 g beef mince

1 onion, finely diced

1 garlic clove, crushed

1 tablespoon thyme leaves, finely chopped

Pinch of salt

 

400 g jar of Barilla Pasta Sauce

120 g Barilla Spaghetti

Ashgrove parmesan cheese, grated

 

Method

Step 1

Heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius

 

Step 2

Mix together meatball ingredients

Wet hands and roll the meatballs

Cook meatballs in a frypan for 10 minutes, turning once

Mix through the tomato sauce

Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes

 

Step 3

Cook spaghetti using the packet instructions, timed to be ready when the meatballs are cooked

Strain spaghetti

 

Step 4

Place spaghetti in a serving dish

Spoon over the meatballs and tomato sauce

Grate parmesan over the top to serve
