BBQ CALAMARI

INGREDIENTS
3 squid hoods, scored and cut into 2cm squares
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Salt, to taste
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp butter
METHOD
Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine the calamari, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, butter, and olive oil. Mix thoroughly to ensure the calamari is well coated in the marinade.
Step 2
Preheat the barbecue to high heat. Cook the calamari in two batches to avoid overcrowding, grilling until caramelised and slightly charred, about 3–4 minutes per batch.
Step 3
Transfer the cooked calamari to small serving bowls. Sprinkle with salt to taste. Serve immediately as a light and delicious appetiser.
