BEEF CHILLI AND RICE

Cook time: 40 minutes

Serves: 4

 

Ingredients

250g Pork mince

250g Beef mince

1 pack Old el Paso chilli spice mix

1 tablespoon pickled jalapenos

500ml tomato passata

1 can black beans (drained)

1/2 can refried beans

1tsp salt

2 cups white rice

 

Method

Cook rice as per packet instructions.

Fry mince in the bottom of a large pan approximately 7 minutes until browned.

Add spice mix, jalapenos, passata, beans and refried beans and stir though.

Simmer on medium heat for 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. 

Serve with steamed rice.
