MISO FLOUNDER WITH CAULIFLOWER

Serves: 2

 

Ingredients

Whole head of cauliflower

150g butter

150g miso paste

1 Flounder (trim tail and spines off)

1/4 cup roughly chopped hazelnuts  

 

Method

Pre-heat oven 180 degrees Celsius.

Cut heart out of Cauliflower and break into large florets. Place florets into baking tray.

In a saucepan add butter and miso on low heat until butter melts through.

Spoon liberal amount of miso butter over cauliflower and bake for 15 mins. After 15 mins remove from oven and sprinkle hazelnuts over the top then return to oven for another 15 mins.

Lightly oil a griddle pan or large frying pan on medium/low heat. Place flounder on pan and baste with miso butter.

Flounder should be cooked slowly, every 4 minutes turn and baste again with miso butter.

Cook for about 12-15 minutes until nicely cooked through.
