PENNE AMATRICIANA

Ingredients

150g Italian salami diced

2 cloves garlic thinly sliced

1 long red chili finely sliced

1 jar Barilla Arrabiata sauce

1 packet Barilla Red Lentil Penne Pasta

100g finely grated parmesan cheese

 

Method

Add the diced salami, garlic and chili to a cold pan and turn on medium to low.

Put a large pot of salted water onto the boil and add pasta. Cook as per packet instructions.

When the oil has released from the salami and the garlic and chili have softened add pasta sauce to the salami in the pan and simmer for 10 minutes. 

Add pasta to the pan with the sauce along with a little of the pasta water. Combine well and remove from heat. 

Serve with a sprinkling of grated parmesan.
