GOLDEN SYRUP PUDDING

Serves: 4
Ingredients
125g butter
125g sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup golden syrup
1 cup milk
1.5 cups flour
1.5 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup golden syrup to finish
Method
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy (5-10 minutes).
Add eggs one at a time while mixing.
Then add golden syrup and continue mixing.
Add milk and mix again.
Then add flour and mix through.
Spoon mixture into a cake tin and bake until golden on top and a skewer inserted comes out clean.
While the pudding is still hot drizzle golden syrup over the top. Serve with double cream.
