HONEY SNAP BISCUITS

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

Makes approx 20 biscuits

 

Ingredients

125g butter

3/4 c caster sugar

2 eggs

1.5 cups plain flour

1tsp vanilla

2tbs honey

 

 

Pre-heat oven to 160 degrees Celsius 

Cream butter and sugar

Add eggs one at a time and mix

Add honey and vanilla and mix

Add flour and mix into a dough

Turn dough out onto bench and knead for about 1 minute to a smooth dough

Flatten dough on bench and cover with cling-film and put in fridge for 1 hour

Place dough between to sheets of baking paper and roll out so the dough is an even 1cm thick dust with a little flour

Use a cookie cutter and cut out biscuits and place on a greased baking tray

Bake for approx 12-15 minutes until they are golden
