SALMON IN MISO BUTTER


PREP TIME: 10 minutes

COOK TIME: 12-18 minutes

SERVES: 2

INGREDIENTS

2 portions of Huon salmon

MISO BUTTER

2 tablespoons  white miso

125 g butter

1 cm ginger, chopped

1 red chilli, chopped

SPRING ONION SALAD

3 spring onions, sliced diagonally

Drizzle of lime juice

1 ½ teaspoons soy sauce

 

METHOD

Step 1

Melt butter in a saucepan

Add the miso, ginger and chilli and mix together

Remove from the heat

Step 2

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius

Place the Huon salmon on a tray lined with baking paper

Baste the salmon with miso butter and place in the oven

Cook for 12 to 18 minutes, basting every 4 minutes

Step 3

Use a palate knife to gently lift salmon onto the serving plate

Sprinkle the spring onion salad over the salmon to serve
