SALMON TARTARE

Ingredients

200gm fresh huon salmon belly (skin off)

2 sheets yaki nori

1 avocado sliced

1tbs miso paste

Juice of 1 lime

1 x long red chilli, seeds removed diced finely

1 small bunch chives finely chopped

¼ cup mayonnaise

 

 

Method

Dice salmon belly into small cubes

Flash the nori sheets over a gas flame to toast, careful not to catch on fire. Use scissors and cut each sheet into 4 small squares

Mix miso, lime juice, chilli, chives and mayonnaise together with salmon belly

Place 2 slivers of avocado on each nori square

Top with Salmon mixture

Garnish with chives

Eat like you would a taco
